Orientation
of SFA team by the resource persons
SFA has
organized a one day orientation workshop on the above mentioned
theme so as to develop common understanding and the methodology to
be adopted for the same. The orientation entailed- brief sharing of
the objective of the needs assessment (literature distributed), TNA
in context of YAP II (discussions) how to conduct TNA through
practical know-how of using the tools.
For the purpose
of common framework, the critical areas were
identified to assess the need of the programme and base to determine
the reporting indicators. For the purpose, an indepth review of
the scope of work of all the themes was undertaken and thus
critical areas were identified after presentations as followed by
discussions on the same. The critical areas helped in arriving at
the competence required among the local team members to deliver
the outputs of the project.
Field testing &
rectification measures of the tools-
All the discussions and practice sessions as finalized were
thereafter promulgated for field testing in 3 organizations of Noida.
The team members conducted the exercise on an individual basis and
after conducting there was experience sharing meeting to rectify any
mistakes/ difficulties and incorporate other suggestions and
feedbacks.
